Assan

The film tells the story of a young man named Zhaken who, after selling a cow and a radio, decides to head to Almaty in hopes of changing his life. Upon visiting his brother Daulet, he meets Sabit, a high-ranking official, and his wife Nadia, whom he falls for. After immersing himself in the city's atmosphere and facing reality, Zhaken realizes that his dreams of a new world are mere illusions. Following a few days in Almaty, he decides to return to his home village, striving to maintain inner harmony.
