During his summer vacation in his grandparents' village, Azamat spends time with their dog's three newborn puppies. However, the growing pups turn out to be quite a handful. When they ruin Grandpa's shoes, he decides to get rid of them. Learning about this, Azamat intercepts his grandfather by the river, snatches the bag with the puppies, and runs away from home. He now has to find them new owners, but it's not that easy. With each passing day, he grows more attached to the puppies, and the thought of parting becomes increasingly difficult.
