Set in the 18th century, the Kazakh steppe is ravaged by the raids of the Dzungar Horde. A prophecy tells of a hero who will bring peace and freedom to the Kazakh people. Young warrior Mansur unexpectedly becomes this hero, facing numerous obstacles to gain the trust of simple nomads, unite scattered tribes, and raise an army capable of resisting the invaders. On his path, he finds true love, loyal comrades, and becomes the great Khan Abilmansur.
