Damir, a wandering youth in his twenties, returns to Almaty intending to collect his paperwork and lead a regular life. He decides to take shelter on the rooftop of a residential building, only to find out that the space is already inhabited by Kostik, a teenage boy with autism who refers to himself as 'Agent Koklynch.' Their territorial dispute leads to Kostik starting to talk again after one silent year, causing his family to view Damir as a miracle. While Damir initially tries to distance himself from the Rodionovy family, his interaction with Sophia thrusts him into a journey that makes him question his perception of what 'normal' is.
