At 16, Arsen moves to a big city with his mother and enrolls in one of Almaty's most prestigious schools. He excels in sports and dreams of becoming a soldier like his father, who died in Afghanistan. However, the new environment has its own rules. Here, everyone is divided into districts and defends their rights with their fists. Arsen is drawn to this daring 'street' world filled with forbidden pleasures, street hooliganism, and petty crimes. He falls in love with the sister of a local authority figure and embarks on a path of self-destruction that's nearly impossible to leave.
