Ghassan

Central Asia, 6th century BC.  Spargap, heir to the throne, is drawn into a war between the Saka tribes—the Massagetae.  Powerful chieftains, among them the avaricious and cunning Kavaz and Kurtun, are slow to unite under a single ruler, fiercely protecting their own interests. Spargap, by sword and diplomacy, strives to unify the steppe tribes.  During this turbulent time, his daughter, Tomiris, is born. Her mother dies in childbirth.  He assumes the responsibility of her care and upbringing, and Tomiris, from a young age, experiences the hardships of nomadic life and the warrior's existence.
