A director and choreographer from Prague prepare a vibrant ice ballet, 'Eastern Fairy Tale', featuring instrumental ensembles and pop artists. The grand project is set to debut at the Medeo rink in Almaty, the capital of Soviet Kazakhstan. However, the foreign creators face a challenge: despite the stylized costumes, their show feels too Western and is hardly understood by the local audience with different values. To connect with their viewers and absorb the local flavor, they journey through the city streets in search of genuine inspiration.
