Mahambet

Little Kaisar lives with his grandfather in a small, picturesque village. After recently losing his father, Kaisar is still unaware of the concept of death. To protect him from the harsh truth, his grandfather tells him that his father simply went away. However, Kaisar keeps asking questions, leading his grandfather to tell him that his father has gone across the distant sea - a journey that requires a hefty bag of coins to pay the old boatman for crossing. From that moment, Kaisar's life revolves around earning enough coins to follow his father. He collects and sells glass bottles, and helps villagers for a small fee. But not all of his ventures are safe, and one day, he gets bitten by a poisonous snake.
