Nurmakhambet

Karim and his young son are each other's only close family in the world. They live in a rundown dormitory room, making do with a simple lifestyle. Their possessions are modest - a two-burner stove, an old frying pan, and shaky furniture. However, they seem content. Material possessions don't matter as much as their bond. When the boy's small hand touches his father's calloused one, they both feel capable of overcoming any challenge. The boy sometimes misses a mother's warmth, but he hides it. The father lacks many things too, but he does everything possible to make his son's new day better than the previous one.
