Faced with an impossible task to quickly find and replace such a large sum, Maxat comes up with a bold plan: to turn his sister's wedding into a live television show. The director is quickly convinced, always ready for ratings-boosting experiments. However, Maxat decides not to tell his family the truth. Arthur Hamzatov is the chief editor of a foreign glossy magazine branch. He's a committed careerist, ready to do anything for a promotion. Now his boss demands a scandalous article about a man with two wives, or else someone else will get promoted. To wriggle out of this tricky situation, Arthur claims he himself has two wives. Now he must find a suitable subordinate to play the role of his second wife, convince his legal spouse to play along, and prove to a Moscow journalist, who came to write a report about him, that all of this is not a farce, but real life.
