Damir, a dentist working at his mother's clinic, is a shy man with impressive prospects. He is offered a job at a medical center in Princeton, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. However, his domineering mother, Bibigul, is not thrilled. She is worried that her 33-year-old son is still unmarried. She gives him an almost impossible task: to find a bride in two months. Otherwise, she won't let him go to America. Following a patient's advice, Damir turns to a specialized agency to help him gain confidence and find a partner. His complicated case is taken on by Ardak, the center's best psychologist, whom Damir unexpectedly falls in love with. Meanwhile, Bibigul doesn't trust her son's abilities and begins to pick a bride for him herself, her friend's pragmatic daughter, Aida.
