Erlan lives in a village and works as a doctor at a local hospital, patiently waiting for his beloved girlfriend to finish her studies and return from Mexico. However, he soon learns that she has entirely different plans - she intends to marry a Mexican. The task seems straightforward, but their car breaks down along the way, and shady individuals show an unhealthy interest in the newcomers.
