Returning from war, Ergazy brought home an old movie projector and a handful of film reels instead of medals or trophies. No one awaited him: his mother had passed, and his beloved wife, Kamshat, believing him dead, left with another man. With time, Ergazy becomes known as Tarzan-aga, an elderly veteran who travels on an old bicycle, projecting films in villages. But his humble craft is threatened when cultural centers with cinemas start appearing in villages.
